I am a certified Jolly Phonics teacher and a trained nursery school teacher and have taught in a reputed preschool in Mumbai for 2 years for kids in the age group 3 to 5.

â??Books Read Aloud for Tiny Totsâ?? is the name of my story telling channel on You Tube for the same age group.

I have taken Jolly Phonics classes ( which included story telling, English reading and speaking skills ) at home and had 25 students in total. English is the universal communication language in todayâ??s world and children can confidently converse when they have a hold on this language.

I have also taken home tuitions in Mumbai for standards 4 to 8 for 2 years.

I believe from my teaching experience (which also includes my own two sons ) that Maths concepts and English skills ( especially grammar) need to be be worked on strongly and groomed nicely in the primary school years to avoid stress and struggle in the higher standards.

With Hindi subject being taught on a high level in CBSE and ICSE schools, I agree that the basic Hindi skills need to be rooted in the early primary years. Generally, the spoken Hindi language at large is very diluted as compared to what a student is expected to know in the secondary and high school.

I can communicate fluently in English, Hindi, Marathi and Konkani. I enjoy working with the age group 3 to 10 years... their curious minds are fully charged up and guiding them the right path trains them for bigger academic challenges.
