IdentityMrs.Kanchan Sathyavanth is practicing Bharatanatyam since the last 20 years with Prof. MR Krishnamoorthy in Kalakshithi, Bangalore. Receiving the Proficiency Degree with Kalakshithi, she has secured distinction in dance with Allahabad University and academically a double graduate holding a masters degree in finance.
Apart from performing for the inaugural ceremony for the National Games held in Bangalore (1994), she has worked with the legendary Smt.Yamini Krishnamoorthy and every year pay tribute to the founder of Kalakshetra, Smt. Rukmini Devi Arundale by performance. Her recent performance was the dance drama of Akkamahadevi which was also given Government Recognition.
