I am a serious and dedicated chess player based in Bengaluru with a competitive playing strength of 1700–1800, which is the level at which players compete in official FIDE rated tournaments. I have spent years building my chess knowledge through deep self-study, tactical training, opening preparation, and continuous game analysis — developing a thorough understanding of chess strategy, endgames, middlegame planning, and positional thinking. While I am yet to play my first official FIDE rated tournament, my playing strength has been consistently tested and verified through serious online competition on Chess.com and Lichess, where my rating firmly stands at the 1700–1800 level. I have a strong grasp of how to break down complex chess concepts into simple, easy-to-understand lessons that are suitable for beginners, school children, and adult learners alike. My approach to teaching is patient, structured, and completely personalised — I do not follow a fixed script but instead build every lesson around the individual student's pace, understanding, and goals. I conduct sessions online using Chess.com or Lichess combined with Google Meet for screen sharing, so every move is guided in real time. My goal as a coach is not just to teach chess moves but to build confident, independent thinkers who genuinely love the game.
