Over the past 13 YEARS, I have worked as a professional fashion designer, where I developed a keen eye for color theory, form, texture, and composition — skills that are directly transferable to teaching visual arts. My experience includes concept development, sketching, fabric selection, and presentation, all of which require a foundation in traditional and modern art techniques. I have also mentored interns and conducted design workshops, which sparked my interest in pursuing education more formally.

In addition to my design work, I have volunteered in youth art programs and led weekend creative sessions at community centers. These experiences allowed me to develop lesson plans, adapt to different learning styles, and foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment — something I hope to bring to your classrooms.
