Hi,
I am staying, in Ganga nagar Bangalore North. I want to admit my kid to LKG, Please sugest any good school .
I tried some school, but i got replay saying there is no vacency for LKG as kid from nussery are filling for LKG.

I'm not sure if schools have an ”NRI quota". The good international schools typically have quite a few expatriate kids and kids of those who have relocated back to Bangalore. International schools admit kids in the middle of the session as well.
Your daughter should be eligible for UKG. Please check with the school of your choice regarding this. Every school has a different...

Your daughter should be eligible for UKG. Please check with the school of your choice regarding this. Every school has a different age cut off, but generally they expect the kid to have completed 6 yrs on 1 June for 1st std.

International schools admit kids in the middle of the session as well. Your choice of school should primarily be influenced by the distance from your residence. Any school should ideally be within a 5 km radius, else kids have to endure horrendous Bagalore traffic.

I am moving from Gurgaon to Bangalore Whitefield area in Dec 2014. I have a son who studies in class 1 and I want his admission there and is looking for some good school which is in that area and is good and where we can get admission mid-term.
Shilpi... My child is studying in Vibgyor... I have never come accross any such problems and they have only lady teachers there.. They also have taken extra security measures like CCTV in each class as well as corridors. Then they have GPS & RFID tracking system in school bus... They even have cctv in buses too... So I dont think there should be any concern regarding the safety of the child...

GIS has quite a few kids who have returned from US so my son fit right in. School has right mix of academics & extracurricular. One thing that I liked was that they adopt the "learning by doing" methodology....

In addition to academics, my son has keyboard,taekwondo, swimming, badminton, tennis & yoga classes (one per day) My son doesnt want to miss a day even if he is sick, so I guess he is happy. School follows ICSE syllabus only. The only problem is that the approach road to the school is very narrow and congested.
Greenwood high also offers IGCSE.
Please base your choice of school on the distance from your residence. GIS & Greenwood high are about 20 km apart. Greenwood is closer to Sarjapur. Please visit the schools and see first hand before your make a decision.
