I am the manager and sole trainer at Root Abacus Learning School, where I specialize in teaching Abacus to young learners. Though I’ve been training students for the past 6 months, my approach is deeply structured and learner-focused, aimed at not just teaching techniques but also building a strong mathematical foundation and enhancing overall cognitive abilities like concentration, memory, and visualization.
Our institution was founded with the vision to offer high-quality education that fosters both confidence and competence. I hold a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree, which complements my work as an abacus trainer. My academic background in analytical thinking has helped me create effective teaching strategies that simplify complex ideas and make learning logical and engaging for children. This combination of analytical skills and structured lesson planning has been key to helping students grasp abacus concepts effectively.
In my classes, I follow a step-by-step “root to root” method that ensures students gain a deep understanding of each concept before moving to the next level. The lessons begin with foundational exercises and gradually progress in difficulty, reinforcing speed, accuracy, and mental arithmetic. Each class includes practical sessions, frequent drills, and interactive learning tools to make sessions lively and productive.
Classes are conducted both online and offline, offering flexibility to parents and students based on their convenience. I also use videos and visual aids to make learning more engaging and to support students who benefit from visual cues. Each session is designed to be interactive, allowing students to actively participate, solve problems, and ask questions without hesitation.
Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a certificate recognizing their effort and progress. This not only motivates them but also gives them a sense of accomplishment.
