Using theatre and art I strongly respond to the occurrences of the society. I desire to fill myself with experiences of life which leads to haunting thought process.
INFORMATION ON PREVIOUS ARTISTIC PROJECTS
In Visual art, I have a great interest and appetite on sculpture, charcoal drawing, Warli art and still life.
My sculptures include mainly clay as a media. I have worked on Puppet art using
thermocol, wood and foam.
Warli Art is a type of tribal art which gained my attention. I have recently done a project on it at Amasebail school walls. We have used Warli arts basics but tried to expand it’s boundary by not using Warli’s traditional colors and the layout of Warli.
Many of my previous works include charcoal portraits. As a theatre artist, most aspects of life and emotions echoes in me. My portraits depicts these too.
Interest on photography made me to click many memories of life.
As I am a trained theatre artist, I worked mostly on acting, lighting, set designing, music and on direction departments. Theatre games, improvisations, theatre exercises,
poems, creative movies, storytelling, art works, designing, work on individual actors are
part of the methodologies which I follow during the direction.
