She has received her M.A. & M.Phil. degree in Journalism and Mass communication from Ahmedabad. After spending five years in mainstream media, she aspired to know more about the strengths and impact of media and empower youths by educating them about the role of media and communication tools. She is passionate about developing a love for the written word, planting a seed that will grow into a powerful voice with the ability to inspire many. She had produced News based info-entertainment programs in TV9 news channel and audiovisual packages on varied subjects like current events, political and social developmental stories for hourly bulletin. Her broad spectrum of experience covers television, web writing, NGO, Radio, Print media, Drama artist and Researcher. She is a blogger and her passion for writing can shine through in her articles. She has explored different states and culture of India and recently visited few countries of South-East Asia. She is currently writing a travelogue with her husband Naishad Parikh on their experiences.
