I currently work as an Asst. Professor of Spanish in a private university (Deemed to be university). I am pursuing my PhD. in Spanish language and Latin American Studies. I am also a language teacher of Spanish language. I have been teaching Spanish on various online platforms for more than 4 years. I passed the UGC/NET exam with JRF, which qualifies me to teach Spanish in universities across India. I am a friendly and helpful person. Learning a new language is fun and, yet a challenging task at the same time. So, my approach to teaching would be student-friendly: by introducing themes and topics, the student finds interesting and relevant. My area of research includes Spanish Literature, Latin American Culture and Literature, Gender Studies, and Acquiring Spanish as a foreign language. I have a unique method of teaching Spanish by which my students acquire an understanding of the language fast and are very pleased with the result of their learning. I have taught students from the USA, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and from India. Throughout my experience as a student and as a teacher, what I have learned so far, the foremost important thing while learning a foreign language is to know the culture and the tradition of the country where the language is being spoken.
