My teaching approach follows the Active IQ Level 3 Personal Training and NSQF Level 5 standards, with a strong emphasis on client-centered coaching, proper biomechanics, and progressive programming. I have: Educated clients on correct form and technique, ensuring safe execution of exercises such as squats, deadlifts, and kettlebell movements. Designed periodized programs incorporating strength training, mobility work, and cardiovascular conditioning. Conducted fitness assessments and interpreted results to tailor programs based on goals, posture, movement screening, and limitations (e.g., scoliosis, obesity, ADHD, knee pain). Taught clients how to use gym equipment and free weights effectively and confidently. Provided ongoing nutritional guidance, goal setting, and motivation strategies. Trained clients with special requirements, such as postnatal women, older adults, or those with injuries or postural deviations, using modified exercises. Delivered CPR and AED knowledge in safety-focused sessions, ensuring clients are aware of emergency protocols in a fitness setting. Additionally, I’ve mentored a few junior trainers and frequently explained the science behind programming and client communication, aligning with UK-based PT education standards.
