Radhamadhavi A.

I teach students from Class 1 to Class 5 and cover all subjects at the primary school level. I have been providing private tuition for the past two years, and this experience has helped me understand the different learning needs, learning speeds, and abilities of young students. Before starting tutoring, I worked in the IT industry, and I now enjoy using my professional and communication skills to support students in their academic journey.

I have completed my Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.). While I do not hold a specific teaching certification or diploma, my two years of practical tutoring experience have helped me develop an effective and student-friendly approach to teaching. Working individually with students has given me valuable insight into how children understand concepts and where they may need additional support.

I believe that students in the primary classes need a strong academic foundation, and this foundation is best developed through patience, clarity, and regular practice. My aim is to make learning simple and approachable rather than making students feel pressured. I explain concepts in a way that is appropriate for the child's age and understanding and encourage them to ask questions whenever they are unsure about something.

My teaching methodology is student-centric and personalised. Before planning lessons, I try to understand the student's current level, grasping ability, learning pace, strengths, and areas that require improvement. I then adjust the lesson plan according to these factors so that the student can learn comfortably without feeling overwhelmed by the pace of the class.

I use simple explanations and interactive methods to make lessons engaging. For younger learners, I believe examples and practical connections can make difficult concepts easier to understand and remember. I also give students opportunities to participate during lessons instead of making classes one-sided. This helps me understand whether they have genuinely understood a concept.

I regularly observe the student's progress and modify my teaching approach whenever required. If a student needs additional practice or another explanation of a particular concept, I take the time to revisit it using a different method. My focus is on helping students develop confidence along with their academic knowledge.

I conduct classes online and use a PPT presentation and digital whiteboard to support my lessons. These tools allow me to explain topics clearly, organise information visually, and make online learning more interactive. My goal is to provide personalised academic support to students from Class 1 to 5 and help them build strong fundamentals, positive learning habits, and confidence in their abilities.
