I am a Senior Security Engineer with 8+ years of experience across Software Engineering and Cybersecurity, specializing in Application Security, API Security, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Research, Threat Modeling, and Secure Software Development.

Throughout my career, I have worked with organizations such as Harness, Qualys, and upGrad, where I have been involved in securing real-world web, mobile, and API applications. My experience includes identifying and remediating vulnerabilities, secure code reviews, threat modeling, penetration testing, vulnerability research, API security assessments, and integrating security into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

I hold a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. During my time at UNC Charlotte, I also worked as an Instructional Assistant, mentoring 40+ students and conducting technical sessions on information security concepts and attack methodologies.

My teaching approach focuses on practical, hands-on learning rather than only theory. I use real-world examples and security scenarios to help students understand not just how security tools work, but how to think like a security engineer and approach security problems systematically.
