Preethi S.

I am a Bangalore-based photographer specialising in posed newborn photography,
maternity portraits and themed sessions for older babies and toddlers under the name of Pretty
Pictures Photography established in 2018.
She is certified by the ‘Accredited Professional Newborn Photographers International’ and a
member of the ‘International Newborn Photography Association’. Her sessions are based on
concepts and themes that are unique and creative which sets her apart from other talented
photographers.
Raised in a South Indian joint family and now a mother to a 7 year old son, started her career with
advertising and moved onto starting her own firm with her husband way back in 2008. She has
always been a wildlife enthusiasts and has been photographing them as a hobbyist for the last 16
years. About five years back she took up photography as her main stream career and began
photographing babies and parents-to-be under the name of Pretty Pictures Photography - a belly to
baby photography studio to capture all the brand new moments of parenthood and childhood.
Being a one man army, she handles her entire business single handedly.
As a creative coach, she conducts photography workshops at her studio and on online platforms
for learners across the globe. She mentors aspiring photographers on various subjects of
photography ranging from basics to advanced level in photography and editing.
With photography as a medium she has contributed to various awareness campaigns such as
normalising breastfeeding in public and infertility, and plans to do more work for the community.
Her work has been recognised and published in many publications in India and Internationally.
Adding to her accolades are the various awards she has won for her outstanding work. She was
also awarded the Most Promising Photographer of the year award in 2020.
