IdentityI am Pranav, and excited to be your Japanese teacher! I have passed the JLPT N2 exam and am currently working towards my N1 certification. I have experience organizing language exchange and study groups where I taught English to Japanese students and learned Japanese from them. Since I spend a lot of time talking in Japanese, I am fluent in speaking and can teach you real Japanese that you would use if you go to Japan and not overly stiff textbook-style language. This also means that if you are a fan of anime, you will be able to understand the conversations in it without subtitles.
I have a lot of hobbies! Drawing, movies, anime, manga, novels, crochet, gaming, badminton and board games. I like connecting my language learning to the activities that I like to elevate the immersion.
Losing motivation to continue your language learning journey is the most common problem that a lot of students face. There are two major reasons for this:
1. You don't enjoy the process.
2. you don't observe progress.
Regardless of whether you're studying from a textbook or using free online materials, what's important is that you have to find some form of joy in your studying journey. My goal is to personalise our classes so you can enjoy them. This can be done by finding ways to connect your studies to your hobbies and interests, and by establishing short-term goals that can help you observe your growth and track your progress.
