I discovered chess in childhood and pursued it competitively through my school and college years in Salem, Tamil Nadu. From 2011 until 2026, I earned five First-Place titles at District and Divisional level tournaments and represented my school twice at State Level competitions. In 2012, I was recognized at a college chess event attended by Grandmaster Viswanathan Anand — an experience that shaped my decision to move from playing competitively to coaching others. I later continued competing through college, securing Third Place at a National Level Sports Fest hosted by SASTRA University, Thanjavur, in 2023. Today, I hold a FIDE Classical rating of 1726 (FIDE ID: 45073996).

7 years as a Chess Coach at Talent Chess Academy, teaching students from beginner to advanced levels — covering openings, tactics, strategy, and endgame technique, with individualized lesson plans and progress tracking for each student.
Tournament Arbiter for several local chess tournaments, officiating under FIDE rules, managing pairings and time controls, and handling on-the-spot rule disputes.
College Chess Team Captain, leading strategy sessions and representing my institution in inter-collegiate tournaments.
Event Organizer, coordinating inter-college chess events end-to-end — scheduling, pairings, and on-site logistics.
