I teach students at different skill levels, from absolute beginners learning to draw for the first time to students looking to improve their sketching, painting techniques, and creative expression. AREAS OF TEACHING • Drawing Fundamentals: Lines, shapes, proportions, perspective, object observation, and sketching. • Shading & Realism: Light and shadow, highlights, depth, textures, and tonal values. • Painting: Color theory, color mixing, brush techniques, composition, and different painting approaches. • Creative Development: Still-life studies, reference-based drawing, imagination, and developing an individual artistic style. MY TEACHING APPROACH My teaching approach is practical and student-focused. I break complex subjects into simple, easy-to-understand steps, demonstrate techniques, guide students through exercises, and provide individual feedback to help them improve. Rather than encouraging students to simply copy references, I help them understand the fundamentals behind what they are creating. My focus is on building strong artistic foundations, observation skills, creativity, and confidence. PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND Alongside my art practice, I bring professional visual communication and design experience from working with international brands such as Apple and Lowe's. This gives me a strong foundation in composition, color, visual balance, detail, and creative problem-solving, which I incorporate into my teaching.
