It's my passion to train students who are interested in playing the instrument.So far I have trained 20 students. I have simplified playing mrudanga so that students can start performing very fast, unlike the traditional way where it takes 10 to 15 years , where as my students can start performing from the 3rd years itself which will help them to overcome stage fear and learn the art to and perform even if it's a large arena. With, no compromising in the quality of playing. Why do students take a class from me? I teach it in a simplified format that is easy to learn, implement, and practice, and within a short span of 3 to 5 years, can start performing. I run a sabha wherein I provide a stage for young and budding artists and my students and promote them.

I'm a Mridangam artist, teacher having experience in this field for more than 20 years. I teach in authentic and famous tanjore style of mridangam playing.

Teaching information: I teach students at basic entry level, intermediate and advanced levels. The teaching methodology follows closely what my Guru Sivaraman Sir has designed with clearly defined modules of learning lessons in all the basic talas to start with and then moves on to intermediate level where training will be imparted on being able to play percussion solos and in the advanced stages, students will be taught the art of accompanying. This draws inspiration from all the great masters of this art and with my own experience of being a stage performer. Location: Apart from taking classes online, I teach in person, at Srirampuram(close to metro station), Kalyannagar(HRBR Layout) and JP Nagar(close to Rangashankara) in Bangalore. Information about fees: 1) For students residing in India it would be 500-1200 per session depending on the duration and level at which the student needs training. If there are a group of at least 4-5 students in a location, I can travel and conduct classes at the location of the students. Details of logistics can be discussed. 2) For students outside India it would be 20-35$/15-30 Euros per class depending on the duration and level at which student needs training.
