Not only does she act as a mentor and guide, she also provides the right platform for my girl to shine in exams and overall as a student. "Manchal ma'am is easy to connect with and her teaching makes the lesson easier for us. She gives us notes for most of the topics which help us understand the various grammatical rules in a better way. A lot of revision exercises are also done. Doubts are cleared immediately. "

She's is really approachable and varies her pace to match yours perfectly. She supplied my class with worksheets online and always realized when my class didn't understand something. She's really understanding and a great teacher. "

"To begin with,Manchal ma'am is a wonderful person.After my 12th grade without much knowledge about french,i had opted for french as my second language in college,and I do not regret it now.Manchal ma'am is a very enthusiastic teacher.Her passion towards french,is shown in her teaching.My learning of french under ma'am has been a very fruitful experience.classes did not end only with the syllabus in the books,but various other activities and sessions relating to french conducted by her in class,made her classes interesting. "Well, i am your typical student who chose french as my second language and then ended up wondering what in the world made me choose so. I like french, yes. Am i good at it? I wasnt. That is, till manchal ma'am came to teach at Mount Carmel College. She has such keen interest and enthusiasm for the subject, that her teaching becomes very interesting and informative. She has a no-nonsense approach and she does her best to make sure all your doubts are cleared . She does not mind being extra-slow just so you can understand the french grammar. She tries to involve even the most reluctant student to join in the class activities and engage in conversation. Most importantly, Ma'am does not give up! No matter how hopeless you might be. I am sure, if you just pay attention in her class and not slack you will go back with great knowledge of the subject. And this coming from a student not too keen on the language, should tell you a lot about Manchal ma'am and her skills. Lastly, I will really miss French classes! Last year was great..wish we could do more classes. Thank you ma'am. "

"I was taught French by Ms.Manchal for a year and she is a very dedicated person. She is very passionate about French and has good knowledge of it. Her classes are very interesting and interactive. She always tried to simplify things for us by making extensive notes for each topic and translating it as well. She pays a lot of attention to detail and always pushes you to be better.She encouraged us to take part in French related activities as well(eg: organising a fest, french play etc) which helped further my interest in the language. She covered different aspects of learning the language,be it reading,speaking or writing. She can always be approached for help.To sum it up, she gets fully involved in everything she does and given the opportunity,can bring out the best in her students. "

"Manchal ma'am's classes are definitely a must if you want to learn French. I've been Mrs. Manchal's student for one whole year now, and the language has never been easier for me, especially grammar. Her explanations are crystal clear, and they're accompanied with plenty of examples and exercises. She gives elaborate notes on the structure, usage and variations of each aspect in grammar which I can refer to at any time. Also, her notes are given in both English and French, which is actually helpful because it strengthens my understanding. Her classes have really made me get comfortable with the language. Also, she is extremely patient and approachable. She is always ready to answer questions and clear doubts, even if it's a trivial one. I'll say this with full conviction: If you pay attention to what she's teaching and work the way she asks you to, you'll learn French easily and it's impossible that you'll do poorly in exams. The way she explains things is simply superb; it just can't get any clearer. "

"The class was always very exciting and the whole class would look forward to it every day! She made sure to get to the point and we all understood what she was saying also she made french interesting, easy and fun.. She made sure we were good on listening, speaking and reading levels. She was very interactive. She gave us a completely different and positive outlook towards French. "I was introduced to French in Pre-University College. Not long after, I needed help in order to clear my II PUC board exam. That is when I asked Manchal if she could help me with it. She taught me two years of French portions that I had studied in college in less than a couple of months with so much clarity that I cleared my boards with a distinction. Her teaching methods are best suited for someone with little knowledge of French as she teaches the basics distinctly. "
