My name is Sowmya. I am currently working as an IT professional in Bangalore, but teaching has always been my true passion. I have one year of experience teaching kids at home through tuitions, and those sessions gave me immense joy and confidence in making learning easy, simple, and enjoyable for students.

Telugu is very close to my heart because it is my native language and an important part of my upbringing. I grew up in a family of teachers—my mother has been a Telugu teacher for more than 15 years, and she has always been my biggest inspiration. I have also participated in and won Telugu Bhagavad Gita competitions, which deepened my appreciation for poems, literature, and the beauty of the language.

In my classes, I focus not only on grammar and language basics but also on poems, stories, songs, and literature to make learning more lively and engaging. I believe that when students connect emotionally with a language, they learn faster and retain knowledge better.

My teaching style is friendly, patient, and interactive. I adapt my methods depending on the learner—whether it’s school children who need help with basics, college students exploring literature, or adults who want to reconnect with Telugu. My goal is to ensure every student feels confident and inspired to learn.
