With over a decade of hands-on experience across architecture, interiors, and project execution, I approach design education with a strong foundation in real-world practice and buildable solutions.

My journey began with formal architectural training, followed by multiple inter-college design competition wins, which shaped my creative thinking early on. I started my professional career at DE-Firm, gaining direct site exposure and understanding how drawings translate into construction. This was followed by my role as Assistant Project Manager at Centimetre, where I developed practical knowledge in commercial interiors, space planning, and execution workflows.

My work at Bhumi further expanded my perspective on sustainable architecture and vernacular materials, contributing to over 100 projects as a Project Architect. A brief tenure as Chief Architect at Jovi Constructions provided valuable insight into construction business models, material management, and cost-driven design decisions—critical lessons I now pass on to young designers.

As founder and Principal Architect of KK Studios, I have led more than 200 design projects and over 20 built works in contemporary and modern architecture. Alongside professional practice, I actively mentor architecture students and interior designers, focusing on bridging academic concepts with on-site realities.

Today, my role as a design tutor extends beyond teaching design principles. I guide students through 3D modelling, design-to-drawing conversion, execution detailing, estimation basics, and presentation workflows. I also develop software tools to simplify documentation and calculations, offering selected resources free to students to support their transition into professional practice.

My teaching philosophy emphasizes clarity, constructability, and confidence—helping emerging designers transform ideas into executable architecture while understanding the realities of materials, budgets, and site conditions.
