It matters how quickly you adapt to playing both hands. You can learn by yourself, but it will take time since you will be practising as per the video or material found on the internet.
But if you find a tutor for keyboard, he will guide you correctly as to where you lack which is the most crucial aspect of a teacher to figure out the imperfection to perfect it.
The decision is yours if you are an excellent self-learner you don't need a trainer, and if you're not then, you should be looking for a tutor.
