Never seen a basketball coach with such a huge knowledge about the game and also about my physical ablity "

He provided me with advanced level of basketball skills and the overall conditioning of my body but most importantly he helped me with my confidence.I was surprised by his in depth knowledge in basketball as he proved to be better than my college coach Hovever since I am a college going student and with my tight schedule and the distant between us, wasn't able to have adequate number of classes.. But the training with him was really worth every penny. "

I can tell you a perfect timeline on how it takes for you to learn basketball.But before that, i would liked to ask you how much are you dedicated to basketball. Any coach can tell you that it takes 1-2 months to learn the game of basketball but to be better at it.. it takes a lifetime.. Several things like practise time, right trainning, dedication, diet, fitness, injuries, experience in other sports, willing to learn, IQ and age all plays a major role in determining how long it takes for you to learn the game of basketball.
So I can say it varies from person to person. Some might take a long time, some might take a very less time .
