Is cybersecurity harder than coding?

Absolutely no, let's say In Cybersecurity we have 10 sub filed out of which only 1 is required the coding. It's called Secure code review You can try for different roles like SOC, VAPT, GRC etc

Should I learn Python or cyber security?

As a Beginner it's not required to learn the python, once you reach certain level. It might help you in terms of automation. But yes it's not Mandatory.
