"Hi Parents , I like to highly recommend this school, my twin kids studying here has something new to talk everyday, GIIS have well lubed and tested curriculum (CBSE) with activities which is fun filled for kids. When I first visited them in Nov-2012 they were in construction mode, after referring the web on them and feedback from other global school, even tho it was far from existing school , I took the risk of sending my twin Girl kids to this very new school at Bangalore. I promise you my gut decision has paid out very well. I am Happy about their transport which was more impt on Pick-up-drop points . Principle Ramesh Mudgal is very polite and friendly guy to interact with , they have both Kannada and Hindi as Second Language. My daughters have taken Kannada as second language( Well it is always best to teach one's mother tongue first , then you can learn any language you like) they have a friendly Kannada teacher luckily who is also a writer himself. During joining I had requested to split-ted them to different sections(of 1st Grade) to make them independent. Both the class teachers are Good and keeps the class happy. Overall I can say GIIS is Outstanding to me till date. "

"Hi Shardul ? Thank you for your input after recent parents meeting with principal. I understand that you are actually referring to the comments posted in above ?recommendations? section. Yes, you are right, those comments doesn't represent the true picture of current situation as school is set to open in near future. However, I figured out that, the when web site created, the creator must have copied those comments from other GIIS school which is successfully running and has created success record. I ignored that content as marketing strategy, however those are the comments written to generate curiosity in parents to bring them for school visit. Having said that, my observations and recommendations in my previous column came from the research I did using Internet, YouTube GIIS videos and my interaction with other parents who is already sending their kids to GIIS in different parts of the world. Since the school staff is not hired yet, I was very particular about their hiring process. In my one on one interaction with Mr.Mudgal, he was clear and confident about his hiring process and also mentioned that the hired staff would go through 80 hour training course with him. I was very much satisfied as I noticed the passion and confidence in his response. Well, once the school is open, we can always revisit our decision and check how far school stood by its words. Regarding the transportation, I was concerned about connecting points rather than security, as I took it for granted that ?safety? is school?s ultimate priority along with education. I hope they will continue to maintain safety standards on par with any other reputed in school in Bangalore area. Perhaps, they might lease or rent the transportation buses for the first year, I am Okay with it as long as safety measures are met. We couldn?t attend the latest principal-parents interaction meeting, but we receive updated thorough other channels. We request management to arrange interaction section before commencing the school and update us with school bus routes and their future plans. My honest feeling is, So far, things are going on right direct direction. Best wishes to other parents and kids. Also wish that GIIS will establish its mark in Bangalore with the hope that the management will not turn down on us and will be as successful as it in other parts of the world. Good Luck everybody.
