Niranjan Hegde, was born (24th March 1992) and brought up in a culturally rich village, Manchikeri (Jogabhatrakeri). He is the second son of Mr. Raghupati Hegde and Mahadevi Hegde. Academically he is diploma holder in Electronics. Initially he started learning Bharat Natyam and Yakshagana. Even though no one has turned into Musicians, the culture of humming was transferred in his family from many generations. May be that humming has transferred as soothing music in him.
When he was 12 years old he was attracted towards Bansuri, Hindustani Flute by his cousin Ganesh Hegde. From then his journey of learning Flute in Gurukula Tradition has started under the able guidance of Guru, Shri Nagaraj Hegde (one of the senior most disciples of Pt Venkatesh Godkhindi) in Gokula Bansuri Gurukula, Shiranala. He has been learning under the same Guru from past 9 years.
He has performed in various stages like Oudumbar, Sangli, Maharashtra; Gokula Bansuri Gurukula, Shiranala; Dimond Jubli Funtion of Shri Jagadamba High School, Sarkuli; Annual Function of Kundurugi; Shri Lalita Badrakali Temple, Devatemane etc. He also accompanied with his Guru in various stages in and around Karnataka.
