Fathima

I am Fathima Haris Ayyaril, a Biotechnology graduate and Cancer Biology postgraduate with a strong foundation in scientific research, molecular biology, genomics, and bioinformatics. I graduated with Distinction in both my BSc Biotechnology from Mahatma Gandhi University and MSc Cancer Biology from the University of Essex, where I conducted research on the effects of blue light on prostate cancer cells.

I have a strong academic background in Biotechnology and Cancer Biology, which has helped me develop a solid understanding of science, research methods, communication, and data analysis. Throughout my studies, I gained experience in laboratory research, scientific documentation, and interpreting complex biological information. I have also presented research findings at seminars and conferences, strengthening my presentation, public speaking, and knowledge-sharing abilities.

In addition to my academic experience, I have worked in customer service and leadership roles at Domino's Pizza in the UK, progressing from Customer Service Representative to Assistant Manager. In these roles, I led teams, trained and mentored new staff, delegated tasks, maintained high operational standards, and ensured excellent customer service. These experiences enhanced my communication skills, patience, organization, leadership abilities, and capacity to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.

I enjoy working with children and creating positive learning environments where they feel supported, engaged, and encouraged to explore new ideas. My combination of academic knowledge, leadership experience, strong communication skills, and experience presenting educational and scientific information enables me to explain concepts clearly and adapt my teaching approach to different learning styles. I am enthusiastic about helping young learners develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning across a range of subjects.
