I completed my Ph.D. from National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal, India. Presently, working as Associate Professor at MVJ College of Engineering, Bangalore, Karnataka, India.



My doctoral research deals with theory and experiments on Buckling and dynamics characteristics of syntactic foam composites and their sandwich composites under mechanical and thermal loads. I have hands-on research experience in composite preparation (Manual stir method, hand lay-up, vacuum bagging, compression molding) and conducting tests using Universal Testing Machine (Performing Tensile, Flexural and Compression tests), Experimental Modal Analysis-Free and Forced vibrations, DMA testing, Scanning Electron Microscope, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, Particle size analyzer, Single screw extruder and 3D Printer.

I have published research articles in esteemed and reputed journals such as Composite Structures, Composites Part B, Journal of Composite Materials, Thin Walled Structures, Material Performance and Characterization and Polymer Composites. My current research deals with the testing of polymer composites for better thermal insulation properties. My future research interests are to leverage my experience in manufacturing polymer composites reinforced with fillers such as fibers and particles and to understand the structure property correlations, making them suitable for aerospace and automobile applications.
