IdentitySivaramakrishna hails from a distinguished family of musicians.He was initiated into the niceties of music at an early age of seven by his father B.Sudarsana Rao. He is a disciple of illustrious and veteran sitarist, late Ustad Ahmed Hussain Khan of Senia Gharana.
He was awarded â??Child Prodigy of the Yearâ?? in 1990 by the Governer of Tamilnadu and also won the admiration of the former Prime Minister of India Sri .P.V. Narasimha Rao for participating in the prestigious Bharat Cultural Integration Committee's (B.C.I.C) music festivals organised all over India.
He has performed internationally and has participated in numerous music festivals to mention a few Indo German festival, Singapore Arts festival, Melbourne Arts Festival and the prestigious "Festival of India" programs. He has widely travelled all over the world, including the U.S.A, Canada, France, Germany, Australia, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Mauritius and the Middle Eastern countries.
The melodious and mellifluous music that he brings out through the Sitar illustrates, his strong creative imagination, that scales great heights.His approach to music is at once intellectual , sensitive and artistic.
