We, the founders of ArtToonz Academy, Anirudh Iyer and our team bring fifteen years of combined experience in the animation industry. Our primary goal is to offer top-notch animation coaching. We have assembled a team of two skilled trainers - one specialising in Character FX (CFX) Grooming and the other in Animation.
Our nineteen years of engagement in animation have equipped us with deep insights and a wealth of practical knowledge. We've been dedicated to shaping the next wave of animators for a significant fifteen-year span. With roles as animation supervisors, we have contributed to creating characters that have graced five feature films and television series featured on the renowned Disney Channel.
Our proudest achievement, the Animated Movie "Roadside Romeo," showcases our dedication and skills and earned us a prestigious national award. Even more rewarding is that over fifty to sixty of our students, who have now become animation experts in their own right, stand as a testament to the efficacy of the training they received under our guidance.
At ArtToonz Academy, we emphasise the importance of recognised certification. Upon completing our courses, students earn valuable certifications that enhance their credibility within the industry. Our teaching methodology takes a comprehensive approach, strongly emphasising practical learning. We offer a three-month foundational course online, encompassing theory (30%) and immersive, hands-on practical sessions (70%) conducted via interactive live Zoom classes.
To facilitate effective learning, we recommend using Maya 3D software - an industry-standard tool for animation. Moreover, we encourage students to explore 2D drawing materials, which are instrumental in grasping foundational concepts and refining artistic skills. Together, we'll breathe life into animations, frame by frame.
