I am Engineer with a M.Tech in VLSI Design from RV College of Engineering, Bengaluru and a B.E in Electronics and Communication Engineering. It depends. You have to try listening to people speaking in Kannada. Initially, you can check out some online videos to get the basics. Then you can practice writing the alphabets. The more you listen to people conversing in Kannada, the better you get a grasp over the language.
