Born out of a desire to create unique ethnic Indian jewellery, Vasundhara was started in 2009 in Bangalore.
We teach how to make organic unique terracotta jewellery which is painstakingly moulded and hand-painted in myriad of colours to complement ethnic as well as Indo-western outfits.
This has a rustic and a very earthen appeal.
2 day Terracotta Jewelry Making Workshop
Following things will be taught :
We teach, how to create a terracotta jewel from the initial process of getting the clay, processing it , designing them and then getting it baked.
Final stage of coloring and varnishing.
You can create your own designs by the end of the class.
Basic CLAY preparation , mixing and forming of dough ,
-5 types of pendants
- Different types of jhumkas, earrings,beads(different shapes n designs), assembly n finally painting
- Information about baking/firing
Time: 11 am to 3 pm
Fees : Rs 3000 (inclusive of basic materials) and get to take home whatever you made in the class
