Hello! I am passionate about teaching nursing students and helping them build a strong foundation in nursing knowledge, clinical reasoning, and practical skills.

I have 2 years of teaching experience at a reputed nursing college in Bangalore and 1 year of clinical experience as a Critical Care Nurse in a hospital. My combination of academic teaching and hands-on clinical experience helps me connect theoretical concepts with real-life clinical practice.

1. Adult Health Nursing (Medical-Surgical Nursing)

- Common medical and surgical conditions, their causes, signs and symptoms, and complications.
- Diagnostic investigations, medical management, and nursing interventions.
- Nursing diagnoses, care plans, and clinical case discussions.

2. Pharmacology

- Classification of drugs and their mechanisms of action.
- Indications, contraindications, adverse effects, and nursing responsibilities.
- Important drugs, safe medication administration, and exam-oriented revision.

3. Pathology

- Causes and mechanisms of diseases.
- Pathological changes and their clinical significance.
- Clear explanations of important concepts for examinations.

4. Nursing Foundation

- Fundamental nursing concepts and procedures.
- Vital signs, infection prevention, patient safety, and basic nursing care.
- Nursing principles, communication, and essential clinical skills.

My teaching methodology

My teaching approach is student-centred, systematic, and focused on conceptual understanding. I simplify complex topics into easy-to-understand explanations, use practical examples and clinical scenarios, and help students connect theory with bedside nursing practice.

I can assist with university examination preparation, important questions, topic-wise revision, nursing care plans, case studies, and clarification of difficult concepts. I also emphasise clinical reasoning and the importance of safe, evidence-based nursing care.

With my experience in both nursing education and critical care, my aim is to make learning engaging, practical, and effective. I want every student to develop confidence in their subjects, perform well academically, and strengthen the knowledge required for professional nursing practice.
