After 5 years of education, I felt like my understanding of psychology, sociology, research, human development, education, and, special education has broadened. I have attended many workshops and conferences which created a greater insight into the importance of these concepts in self and community development. Being the community service director of the Rotaract club of Jyoti Nivas College Autonomous, I was able to organize events for university students based on their needs. It taught me better ways of designing curriculums for classes, administration of quantitative and qualitative assessment methods, management techniques, and, the ability to recognize my professional skills. Interning in Buoyancee organization, Bangalore I was able to assess, create and implement varied teaching and learning techniques to a child with special needs. The child was found to be highly motivated to better themselves and try to achieve greater goals. Further inquisitiveness was brought about by my research on
the relationship between perceived parenting style and vocational identity development among adolescents to better their holistic and futuristic development. It improved my understanding of the role parents play in the educational, vocational and professional development of a child. I was also able to develop my analysis and presentation skills.

As a fresher, I will be able to bring in a new perspective, current knowledge and fresh
enthusiasm in execution of such job roles. With a solid educational background and passion for bettering the educational knowledge and experience of children, I believe that I can help the school and children reach new heights.
