I am a professionally trained watercolor artist with over 15 years of teaching experience in painting. My experience includes teaching watercolor to students across different age groups and skill levels, ranging from absolute beginners to learners looking to refine their technique and artistic expression. My teaching focuses strongly on watercolor fundamentals, including water control, color mixing, brush techniques, tonal values, composition, and observation. I believe that a strong foundation is essential for confident painting, and I guide students step by step, ensuring concepts are clearly understood and practically applied during each session. Along with technique, I encourage students to develop patience, consistency, and a personal approach to the medium. I have experience teaching a variety of watercolor subjects such as landscapes, still life, realistic styles, and loose watercolor approaches. Lessons are adapted to the learner’s pace and goals, whether they are painting as a hobby, for skill development, or for deeper artistic growth. Absolute beginners are welcome, and I also guide students in selecting and using appropriate materials like paper, brushes, and colors. In addition to independent teaching and studio practice, I have held a leadership role in a school art department, which has strengthened my ability to design structured lesson plans and support long-term learning. I aim to create a focused, supportive, and encouraging environment where students can steadily improve their painting skills while enjoying the creative process.
