Aditya Kumar

I am Aditya Kumar, a Certified Mandarin Trainer with around 8 years of experience teaching Chinese. I teach students at different age groups and learning levels and help them develop their speaking, listening, reading, writing, and overall communication skills in Mandarin Chinese. My approach is focused on making the language practical, understandable, and useful in real-life situations.

I completed my Bachelor of Arts from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), with a specialization in Chinese language and studies. I also spent one year studying in China, which gave me valuable first-hand exposure to the Chinese language and culture. This experience has helped me develop a practical understanding of how the language is used beyond textbooks and formal lessons.

I am certified in HSK 5 and HSKK and have experience teaching practical and professional Chinese. Over the years, I have worked with learners with different goals, whether they want to improve their spoken Chinese, prepare for examinations, develop professional communication skills, or strengthen their language abilities for academic opportunities.

My teaching methodology is patient, practical, and student-focused. I break complex aspects of Mandarin into smaller and easier lessons so that students can gradually develop confidence. I follow a structured lesson plan covering pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, listening, speaking, reading, and writing according to the student's requirements.

I believe that language learning becomes more effective when students get opportunities to use the language actively. Therefore, I include interactive activities, practical examples, conversations, and real-life communication exercises in my sessions. I encourage students to practise regularly and use Chinese naturally instead of limiting their learning to memorising vocabulary and grammar rules.

I also help students prepare for HSK and HSKK examinations, Spoken Chinese, and Business Chinese. In addition, I support learners who have academic or professional goals connected with China, including students interested in higher studies and scholarship opportunities.

I offer both online and offline classes and personalise my lessons according to each student's objectives and current level. My aim is to make Mandarin approachable and engaging while helping students steadily improve their communication skills and develop the confidence to use Chinese in everyday, academic, and professional situations.
