For civil engineer and mechanical engineer both are important because Autocad is a basic design tool and Revitis an advanced tool for Autocad.

If you want to enter in drafting field, then you can choose AutoCAD software and AutoCAD software is widely used in India in almost all engineering fields and that's why Job ratio is high in AutoCAD. Revit is widely used outside of India and many foreign companies that are settled in India also work on Revit Software.
