You have ribbon and then you have advance advanced commands for surface modeling, mesh modeling, and even solid modeling. If you are already skilled in 2007 and planning to learn 2018, then We would suggest you to explore and learn it immediately as 2007 may be limiting your Modeling Capabilities. There is isn't anything you cant do in AutoCAD 2018 read less
