Autocad is one of the most powerful design software...say it an architectural, interior design, electrical, automobile, civil, mechanical etc..for all the branches of engineering & design autocad is essential & useful..I happed to be a part of Verve - the school of design & vastu, Udaipur, since 2004, have been using it, & teaching it to all the branches of engineering....the best way to learn it not the online..as u only learn the basics.. but you need a professional trainer to know the complete ins & outs of the software..so that u can use to the maximum with utmost efficiency...it's said " Guru Bina Gyan Adhura" read less

CAD Engineer

I am a Mechanical Engineer and I have been using AutoCAD for the last 4 years to prepare General Assembly drawings, Detail drawings for production etc. and also to create 3D models for Catalogue, Websites etc.
