I am an Australia-based English tutor with almost 10 years of experience in helping students learning English as their second language. A majority of my experience is related to helping students prepare for their IELTS and PTE examinations. I myself have a IELTS band of 8.5 and a PTE score of 90 overall. Although I was not required to take any of these exams, I wanted to get direct experience with the format so as to better help my students.

I have always loved literature and English as a language, and as such, I would love to guide and help you develop your own English. I like to let myself be guided by your needs and prefer a level of comfort with shared laughs and some fun along the way. I aim at creating a relaxed and friendly environment where my students feel safe and comfortable practicing their English while having an open conversation with me on a range of topics of interest to both of us. I have an open teaching style because I understand people learn differently based on several factors. I can help with pronunciation, vocabulary and fluency, providing constructive feedback as we converse in a gentle manner so as not to overwhelm you. No matter the kind of help you need, I will be happy to support your learning goals to the best of my abilities.
