I have been playing chess since I was 4 years old. I played professionally till I was in 7th Grade- winning various national and international awards. Notably- I earned my FIDE rating when I was only 10 years old.

Since 7th Grade I have played some tournaments but my focus has been academics. I have completed a Masters in Neuroscience. This gives me knowledge about how a child's mind develops and I specialize in teaching young kids. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Neurobiology of Learning and Memory.

My strength as a chess coach is knowledge of human psychology and neuroscience. Using my skills in research and organization- I have created a full step by step course work for Chess Beginners. I have list of great resources for students who want to learn on their own as well.

I will provide not just technical Chess Knowledge, but also how to think, improve learning techniques and how to improve focus, attention, planning and critical thinking on the basis of neurobiology research which I have expertise in.
