With many online free tutorials in place, does one ever need to hire a mentor to learn a new Technology? if yes, why? i am in the process of learning MVC, linq, and WCF and by far using online resources. if anyone out there is interested in learning, can join me. we can learn together.

Tutorials are really a good source of knowledge. But they can never replace human interaction. A mentor can share his experiences about every aspect with real life examples and then replace it with even simpler ones if u cant understand. But a tutorial can only provide what it has coded in it.
