Financial The social aspects of the Arts and Crafts movement were not financially feasible when competing with mass manufacture. Many craftspeople producing for the movement could not afford the items they were making. Mess Arts and crafts can be messy, but some say that the enjoyment of the activity is more important than the mess. read less
