Arnav Gogoi

I am currently pursuing my Mphil in English from the University of Delhi. My strong point is the ability to bring a certain freshness to the text in hand which entails critical unwavering of the nuances which the text demands. I believe it is very important for students of literature to cultivate this quality of critically challenging what they read and how they read. I have worked on two scholarly papers : one for an international conference conducted by Kamala Nehru college on "Urban Space"; the other one was for a national seminar organized by Zakir Hussain College, which was sponsored by UGC. the paper from the former conference, titled 'Dalits: Arrested Identities in urban space', was published in the journal Creative Forum Vol. 29. published by Bahri publications. Apart from writing scholarly papers, i engage in a one on one discussion with my friends and juniors on various topics of literature and sometimes conduct my small classes for them. I also love reading books, writing poems and short stories. My other interests lie in philosophy, metaphysics and epistemology.
