Of course it depends on which other languages you’re comparing Arabic to. But let’s say for now that you’re an English speakers, and you’re comparing Arabic to a Romance language like Spanish. Arabic is definitely more complicated, for a few reasons. Before you even start to learn Arabic, you have to decide which Arabic you want to learn. Similar to how there are bunch of different kinds of Spanish spoken, Arabic has a different dialect (or dialects) in every country. But the gap between, say, Moroccan Arabic and Iraqi Arabic is bigger than the gap between, say, Mexican Spanish and Castilian Spanish. read less
