I am a dedicated tutor specializing in Punjabi speaking and vocal music. With over two and a half years of teaching experience, I have had the opportunity to work with students from various backgrounds and age groups. My goal has always been to make the learning experience both meaningful and enjoyable, whether it’s helping someone connect with their Punjabi roots or guiding them through the beautiful journey of vocal music training.

My academic background is strongly rooted in both language and music. I hold a graduation degree and am currently pursuing my Master's in Vocal Music, which allows me to continually deepen my understanding of classical techniques and vocal expression. I also hold a Visharad degree from Pracheen Kala Kendra, Ludhiana, and a Master's degree in Punjabi. This unique combination helps me bring authenticity and clarity into my classes, whether I am teaching the nuances of language or the emotive depth of a raga.

In addition to my formal qualifications, I’ve been fortunate to gain hands-on experience by teaching music in schools and conducting online sessions. My focus is on classical vocal techniques, devotional singing, and building a strong foundation in voice modulation. Every student has their own pace and learning style, so I make sure to tailor my classes accordingly, ensuring personal attention and progressive learning.

My teaching style is warm and encouraging. I emphasize clear communication, technical accuracy, and emotional connection with the music. For Punjabi speaking, I focus on pronunciation, conversational fluency, and cultural context so that learners can use the language confidently in everyday life. I believe that language and music are not just subjects, but living expressions of identity and tradition.

I have participated actively in various college and cultural events, performing in folk singing, instrumental music, and Shabad Kirtan. These experiences have given me valuable stage exposure and reinforced the importance of discipline, practice, and passion. The certificates and recognition I’ve received from these events have been encouraging milestones in my journey.

I primarily conduct online classes, which makes it easy for students from different regions to learn comfortably from their own space. Though I don’t use teaching aids like PPTs or videos regularly, I believe in creating a strong teacher-student bond through live interaction and real-time feedback. I look forward to helping many more students find their voice—both literally and figuratively—through the beauty of music and language.
