Overview

I have been playing the acoustic guitar since the age of 12 and it's been over 7 years that I have been performing. I've also been a student at the Calcutta School of Music, one of the finest music schools in the country.
I have a strong grip of the basics and I encourage my students to do the same because without a strong foundation, you really cannot commence further. I'm more into blues and jazz but I've tried all forms of music except heavy metal. So yes, students who are willing to learn from me can expect to get their basics right and with the exact amount of practice, you'll be off to playing the guitar like a pro in no time.

"It was an amazing experience learning from him. His vast knowledge of Music Theory combined with his practical skills were not only mesmerizing but also inspiring. His capability to quickly understand the student's nature and lacking helps to improve our skills. He doesn't aim at making his students just good guitarists but at making them complete musicians. "

Well, to be a versatile musician, you need to try a hand at all forms. But then play what makes you comfortable. Like if you see slash, he's a rock guitarist but then he's played blues with bb king as well. I hope this helps

Depends you know. You don't usually need to go for the same brand. However, if you're not willing to compromise on tonal quality, you could go ahead and change the entire set. There would be a very minor change in tonal quality but then it's not noticeable.
