I am Mathew VB Special educator, specialized in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Working along with occupational therapist in special skill training. Incorporating occupational therapy activities along with special education for better prognosis of the children. Handling children with multiple disabilities ( ASD, ADHD, ID, GDD, cerebral palsy, seizure disorder, down's syndrome, fragile X syndrome, angel man syndrome, cornelia De Lange syndrome, west syndrome, learning disabilities, digeorge syndrome, micro deletion syndrome). Experienced in one to one therapy and group therapy sessions. Comfortable in establishing rapport and good interaction among disabled population. Providing education to parents about child's specific needs and prognosis. Focusing on specific requirements and considering parents felt needs for their child and working on it. Experienced in Conducting awareness program for family members/ parents of child with developmental disabilities. Experienced in working on sensory processing difficulties of the individual. Currently working with multi disciplinary team for better prognosis.
