Identity
Over the past two years, I have been teaching Mathematics and Computer Science at the secondary level, and the experience has been both rewarding and enriching. I’ve had the opportunity to work with diverse groups of students, each with unique learning styles and abilities, which has helped me grow both as an educator and as a communicator.
In Mathematics, I focused on building strong foundational understanding, using real-life examples and visual aids to help students grasp abstract concepts. In Computer Science, I emphasized problem-solving and logical thinking, integrating hands-on programming activities and collaborative projects to make the subject engaging and practical.
Throughout my time in school, I’ve been actively involved in curriculum planning, assessing student progress, and implementing differentiated instruction to support learners at various levels. I also contributed to extracurricular activities such as coding clubs and math competitions, which allowed me to extend learning beyond the classroom.
Overall, my teaching experience has strengthened my classroom management skills, deepened my subject knowledge, and reinforced my passion for helping students succeed both academically and personally.
