DR HARISH M: Research Scientist / Associate Professor
Dr. Harish M. is a highly accomplished research scientist and associate professor with over 20 years of experience in biochemistry, food technology, analytical chemistry, fermentation technology, and protein research. He holds a PG in Analytical Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering. Throughout his career, Dr. Harish has published 24 articles in renowned journals and conference proceedings. He has also filed 6 patents, including 3 in the field of food technology. As a co-investigator, he has played a vital role in four projects funded by government bodies (BIRAC & CDB). Dr. Harish has successfully guided 11 M.Sc. dissertations and actively contributes as an IQAC Cell Co-Coordinator. He possesses expertise in pharma regulatory affairs and patent filing. As an IPR Cell Coordinator for SSTM, KSCSTE, Government of Kerala, he promotes intellectual property rights. Dr. Harish is proficient in bioassays, laboratory bench studies, scientific report writing, and research lab management. His technical skills encompass various chromatography techniques, AAS, real-time PCR, protein purification, polyclonal antibody production, ELISAs, cloning, sequence analysis, protein structure prediction, fermentation technology, biostatistical analysis, and Western blot analysis. Prior to his academic career, Dr. Harish gained valuable industrial experience at Coromandel Fertilizers and Galaxy Surfactants Ltd for four years. His dedication to advancing scientific knowledge and fostering innovation has earned him recognition within the research community.
