No, that will create a situation where you will caught in two courses and nothing will be gain eventually even that will spoil your first year study

Depends on what your ranking was in your previous attempt. And also you need to examine what your weak areas are in your previous attempt. If you're confident enough after this analysis, then it's a matter of taking out fixed time from your college studies for practicing those areas that you can improve. I know one of my junior in IIT Madras was in BITS Pilani, and he cleared IIT JEE successfully even in midst of college studies. But you have to see your potential and then decide accordingly.
